Compassion Network Services

Compassion Network draws volunteers and resources from approximately 60 local faith communities united in Jesus. Requests for help are screened, and services are rendered as volunteers make themselves available.

Manual Labor
Compassion Network volunteers provide many different types manual labor to needy and elderly individuals in our community.

Office Assistance
Compassion Network volunteers assist with a wide variety of office work upon request.

Family/Youth/Child Services
Compassion Network volunteers provide spiritual mentoring, general tutoring, childcare and other services to help families in crisis. We also provide referrals for addiction counseling, emergency resources and shelter.

Language Translators/Assistants
Compassion Network serves a diverse community where multiple languages are spoken. The Network provides volunteers who are able to assist those whose mother tongue is other than English.

Medical Services
Sometimes we receive donations of free medical, dental and nursing services. Network volunteers also provide transportation to medial appointments, meals for the sick, and support for those struggling with grief and illness.

Financial Services and Support
Compassion Network does not provide financial assistance. However, Compassion Network volunteers provide routine counseling and referrals to those who need help with financial planning, budget organization, taxes, and debt relief.

Employment/ Training
Compassion Network provides referrals for employment and job training. We have volunteer who will help write a resume, help with job interview skills and other services to help one in the job search. Occasionally, employers will offer jobs through our network.

Legal Services and Support
Compassion Network provides referrals for legal services and support. Occasionally, local attorneys will offer free services through our network.

General Services/Support
Compassion Network volunteers are available to meet a wide range of needs. If the request falls beyond the scope of our services, we will work with you until we find the help you need.
