WELCOME...
...Compassion Network is a diverse movement of local congregations, youth, entrepreneurs, artists, people of faith, skilled professionals, and every day people, united in Jesus who are wiling to serve the disadvantaged in our society through compassionate action.
Compassion Network aspires to educate and activate a movement of volunteers toward this lifestyle of compassion. Every individual has a skill or ability that they can offer to someone in need. Compassion Network matches the need with the hand to help.
It is an honor and privilege to help people in need by addressing the whole person whether it is physically, financially, emotionally, intellectually or spiritually.
Whole people are healthy people. Healthy people conceive healthy communities. Healthy communities and families construct a better nation. Healthy nations create a better world.
Let us be a city church that is not only aware of the needs around us, but eagerly responds by sharing our "glass of water," allowing hope within to lift the chin of another.
For I was hungry, and you fed Me. I was thirsty, and you gave Me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited Me into your home. I was naked, and you gave Me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for Me. I was in prison, and you visited Me.' -Jesus (Matthew 25)
